Our Project Managers perform and fulfill a variety of procurement functions for Hospitality based Design/Procurement project from inception through project completion. This position is instrumental in maintaining important supply chain initiatives necessary for executing successful hotel builds and renovation.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree – Business/Supply Chain or Hospitality major desired

EXPERIENCE

5+ years of professional experience with an emphasis on project management responsibilities and operations

• Knowledge base of Hospitality FF&E and OS&E
• Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and proven ability to create and maintain analytical reports in Excel
• Experience working in SPEXX/EXXPEDITE

JOB REQUIRED SKILLS

• Lead projects depending on scope in conjunction with team leadership
• Advanced experience and familiarity with Hospitality FF&E specifications and manufacturers
• Proficient in specification translation for the purposes of bidding, budgeting and issuing Purchase Orders
• Proficient knowledge of manufacturers, price points, product expediting & logistics principles
• Advanced experience in project design specifications, supplier selection, costing, production lead times, bidding, PO issuance, expediting orders and project close out (accounting)
• Complete comprehensive project tasks in an expedited time frame
• Supervise project planning, organization, and delegation & support personnel in conjunction with team leadership (internal & external)
• Maintain and demonstrate advanced project management skills for both international and domestic clientele
• Responsible for client management with respect to project initiatives and deliverables
• Maintain frequent contact at highest possible level in client organization
• Assist and delegate requests for quotation initiatives, bid analyses, and Purchase Orders
• Able to manage and complete project tasks in accordance with project schedules
• Perform Quality Control exercises on one’s own work as well as team member’s work
• Understand hotel brand structures and standards, requirements and project budgets
• Translate design and procurement direction to project team in accordance with team leadership, brand-specific standards and brand guidelines
• Direct project team to produce project results that meet brand and/or client standards
