The Designer II supports parts of a project or entire projects depending upon the scope in conjunction with Team Leadership.
The Designer II designs, manages and performs within a design team in a self-directed manner in all aspects of the Interior Design process including preparation of materials, schematic design, design development, contract documentation, rendering and construction of administration activities within an established budget with specific scheduling, site and programmatic requirements.

Job Requirements
Intermediate understanding and knowledge of design principals, theories, color and materials
Intermediate experience with construction materials and FF&E specifications/providers
Intermediate experience in project design specifications, construction documentation, production, material selection and shop drawing review
Understanding of hotel brand structures
Intermediate written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed and motivated
Technical Skills
Intermediate graphic skills in AutoCAD (current release preferred), InDesign, Photoshop and SketchUp
Intermediate understanding of specification writing (SPEXX experience preferred)
Education & Experience
Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a CIDA-accredited or NAAB-accredited program
2-4 years professional Design experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
Strong design portfolio required
