A returning client approached us to investigate and consult on the Tarrytown House Estate and Conference Center, a potential acquisition in upstate New York. The 26-acre estate comprises 13 buildings dating from the 1840s to 2001 overlooking the scenic Hudson River valley.
The Gettys Consulting team performed due diligence for the estate, employing our research and market knowledge to define the capital expenditure and create a market plan. Following this phase, we are currently assisting with the acquisition. Our conclusions will include a repositioning of the estate with new branding, as well as proposed renovations to the hotel and meeting spaces as we work to guide this property to its full potential. The Gettys Group will act as the hotel asset manager once closing is complete.
