The Gettys Group Companies, a family of companies focused on development, branding, interior design and procurement for global hospitality, commercial and multifamily projects, has announced the return of Chris McDonough to the Chicago-based firm. McDonough will serve as Principal and head up the Chicago and Manila offices of Gettys Interiors and Gettys One, the company’s specialty select-service hotel design agency.
McDonough will draw upon his 25 years of experience, including 13 years spent with The Gettys Group Companies, as well as his background in hospitality, F&B, retail, multifamily and custom residential projects. His aim is to execute the firm’s shared mission: to oversee all aspects of the project process – from business development to establishing scope to setting expectations – to guide his teams in creating projects that are visually striking, functional and fiscally successful.
