Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to execute initiatives to maintain and increase Gettys’s visibility as the leader in the industry.  The ideal candidate has a passion for brand development and creative thinking. Must be self-driven, efficient with deadlines, and able to work professionally, effectively, and enthusiastically in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

Requirements

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Gettys’s marketing funnel including but not limited to our social media presence, website content, email marketing, presentation decks, video, and in-person events.
  • Provide fundamental design, editing, and copywriting for proposals, decks, digital marketing, and incidental collateral.
  • Act as point person with social media agency to provide a consistent stream of content.
  • Champion social media with our talented team to generate and organize content.
  • Identify and implement marketing strategies for brand recognition opportunities.
  • Plan and manage team members’ attendance at conferences, events, and meetings.
  • Maintain an inventory of sales support materials, making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as necessary.
  • Manage media contacts and prospects via Salesforce.
  • Manage assets including images, videos, media coverage, and brand collateral.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.

SKILLS

  • Strong graphic design and writing skills, including proofreading, editing, and the ability to write appropriately for the designated audience.
  • Skilled in visual information design and layout.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Professional email etiquette.
  • Excellent customer service skills when interacting with guests, prospects, and clients.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Proficient on Social Media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc.
  • Must be able to set and adjust priorities independently.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be able to lift 45 lbs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Business, Communications, or Marketing preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of business development, marketing, or communications experience. A focus in the design, hospitality, or luxury industry is preferred.
