The Gettys Group was tasked with creating an interactive event for the Facebook GMS Summit that would incorporate their brand culture and the year’s theme, DARE.. We set out to surpass all other events they had held, and the result was an event that was clever, fun, and of course, daring.

The Gettys Branding team transformed the host hotel into a replica of Facebook‘s Menlo Park campus, complete with iconic architectural and landscape elements, environmental graphics and amenities all hacked to match the theme.

To keep the experience unpredictable and fresh, and to give those in attendance the general feel of interacting on Facebook, we designed the experience to continuously ‘update’ – elements were changed out periodically, and selfie photo vignettes were updated each day.

We carried out the event on-schedule and on-budget, and successfully generated buzz for the brand.
