When in Rome, do as the Romans do…when in Kansas City…eat the “Q”!! We fell in love with the barbeque here…it’s the main event. LC’s is no-frills and nothing like our usual high-style haunts. Here, the food is served on Styrofoam and the TV with today’s game is always on. But, forget about that and focus on LC’s smoked meat…especially their “Burnt End Sandwich” that combines the most crisp, chewy, extra-luscious nuggets of meat cut from the outside edges of smoked brisket. Add a little of KC’s ridiculously good sauce, and you’ll see why our designers abandoned their Malanos and Martinis for LC’s.
