Project Manager – Consulting

Position Summary

Perform and fulfill a variety of consulting functions for hospitality-based projects from inception through project completion.

The position requires a person with a diverse background with experience in the real estate, architecture and construction fields.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Maintain and demonstrate advanced project management skills for clientele, specifically related to:
    • Leading the planning efforts of all project-related functions with clients and project team members
    • Monitoring budgets and schedules as well as instituting changes to guarantee that project goals are achieved
    • Managing cost estimates using available resources as they relate to project goals
    • Mentoring and development of project team members

Client Relations:

  • Generates a significant degree of client satisfaction both individually and as a Firm
  • Effective business advisor, demonstrating broad spectrum of consultative business acumen
  • Is responsive in a timely fashion to client inquiries and requests
  • Ability to inspire client confidence in technical ability and overall client services
  • Maintains frequent contact at highest possible level in client organization
  • Can effectively handle inquiries of client regarding services of the Firm

Additional Duties:

  • Coordinate and maintain detailed project documents for record keeping
  • Maintain and update internal project timelines
  • Assist with documentation and resolution of all project related items
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets for design-related projects
  • Handle client communications as directed by manager
  • Special projects as periodically assigned by manager



  • It is preferred that the qualified candidate holds a degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or related field.


  • Minimum 6 years of experience in architecture/construction-related project management

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge base of Hospitality Industry
  • Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of AutoCAD and proven ability to create and maintain analytical reports in Excel
  • High attention to detail; numbers-oriented mindset
  • Organized and thorough work style with emphasis on time management
  • Ability to resolve conflict quickly and constructively

  • Innate willingness to take on the next challenge
  • Strong communication, leadership, a solid work ethic, and a positive attitude are essential elements for this position
